If you’re anything like me, finding the perfect gift can sometimes feel like an overly difficult task. Which is why this year, I’ve tried to get organised for Mother’s Day earlier than usual AND hopefully help some of you out here too!
Gift idea 1) You can’t go wrong with a pre-made Mother’s Day gift box from Damselfly. Filled with deliciously scented candles, with cute variations of quotes or prints, beautiful body lotions and beauty treatments, such as face-masks, this will no doubt put a smile on Mum’s face. Plus they currently have 20% off, or you can use my code ‘TESS15’ for a discount off full priced items.
2) Mum’s work hard for us. They deserve to be pampered! Why not treat her to a voucher to your favourite day spa or nail salon.
3) Take her on a surprise adventure! Plan an outing for the day and make a few stops. You could start with a nice walk and coffee somewhere, or take her to your favourite cafe, followed by some shopping or an exhibition. Get creative by googling ‘what’s on’ in your city.
4) Want to save a few dollars? Mum’s love sentimental things. Try a heartfelt letter, presented on a handmade card. You could grab some flowers from the garden and press them between books, or draw a picture (like when you were a kid!). I also love printing photos at OfficeWorks (it’s quick & cheap!) and making nice collages with pretty paper. Have fun with it and mum will very likely keep it forever. 😉
5) We all love personalised goods! Check out the Daily Edited for a cool personalised phone cover or makeup bag that mum can use every day! Practical and cute.
